Morning Star Stables, a division of Hydeaway Farm, is a small yard situated in the beautiful countryside south of Heidelberg, Gauteng. The Hyde family has been farming here for seventeen years; while the yard is recently established, Hydeaway Farm has been a place of tranquility, excellence, and homecoming for many years to human and animal alike.

We provide quality outdoor livery, lessons for all ages from beginners to competitive riders, outrides for all levels of rider, and training of horses and ponies. We also often have horses and ponies available for sale.

Morning Star Stables is more than just a business – it’s a calling. Everything we do here comes from our relationship with God, His love for us and our love for Him. So we strive to fill our work with Him and from Him all our strong points are born: love, dedication, diligence, honesty, joy. We are passionate about horses and people, and about providing them with the best possible care and instruction. The Scripture that led us to open Morning Star Stables sums it up nicely. We will do everything in our power to prepare our horses and riders for their battles, be it in the show ring or on our own personal battlefields.
